Celebrity Reflection proves that it's possible to cruise with kids and still enjoy the finer things in life. For those traveling without children (and parents craving a break from the pitter patter of little feet), the adults-only pool areas and specialty dining venues are an added bonus. Celebrity Reflection, the latest ship in the Celebrity fleet, incorporates the best of the previous Solstice-class ships along with a few new features. Those with a little extra money to spend will appreciate the exclusive suite options that take the concept of 'modern luxury' to a whole new level. Read on to discover 10 reasons why Celebrity Reflection might be the ship for you.
Review of Celebrity Reflection
The ship was first floated out on Oct. 12, 2012, to be later christened by four godmothers, on Dec. 1, 2012. Godmothers include Jovanka Goronjic, Megan Mathie, Helen O’Connell and Rosey Rodriguez. Watch the sun set on the water accompanied by pop and folk tunes from a live guitarist. Featuring a gorgeous pool, sparkling waterfalls, thickly padded lounge chairs, and an adults-only policy, tranquility is always just a few steps away.
Celebrity Reflection cabins and suites
For the oldest kids in the crew, a teens-only space is open to ages 13 to 17, with some planned activities but not as much guidance as what the younger kids get. On Celebrity Reflection, there are multiple venues for kids of varying ages. Within the Camp at Sea program, children as young as 3 can enjoy a camp-like environment with lots of fun, staff-led activities.

At 1,047 feet long and with 16 decks, she has space for more than 3,000 guests. Any honest review of the Celebrity Reflection will tell you the decor on the ship is upscale with furnishings in good condition, albeit a bit dated. Reflection was the first in the series with AquaClass cabins, and the only ship with Reflection-Class suites.

Whether you prefer history, art and culture or sandcastles and sunshine, Celebrity Reflection has got you covered with an appealing choice of European and Caribbean cruises. Ports include the sunny surrounds of Cozumel, St. Thomas and Montego Bay as well as Rome, Istanbul, Athens and picturesque Santorini. Overnight stays are available on some Mediterranean sailings, too. Striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism isn't easy, but the crew on Celebrity Reflection have it down to a fine art. It is unusual to pass a crew member and not receive a cheerful greeting or inquiry about your day.
Celebrity Suite
Whether you seek or desire activity, there’s no better way to find your ultimate state of well-being than miles away at sea. Our holistic experience begins the moment you step on board, with the ocean as the backdrop to your wellness journey. Locate your stateroom, and our world-class amenities and venues throughout the ship.
It’s a quiet spot on deck 7 with lots of cozy seating options as well as a complimentary coffee station. The Spa Café, located in the solarium, serves up a great complimentary light lunch. With small-sized portions of salads, whole grain breads, fresh fruits and even smoothies, it offers a meal that won’t break the day’s calorie budget. My wife especially enjoyed the quinoa and chicken salad with whole grain bread stick. The Celebrity Reflection, like all Solstice-class ships, has a Lawn Club with real grass (they even mow it) on the top deck of the ship.
Where does Celebrity Reflection sail to?
With a relaxed atmosphere and casual, yet upscale menu, we enjoyed its grilled entrees. Then, we’d recommend Italian-themed Tuscan Grille which serves up steaks, pasta, and lots of infused oils and vinegars with bread. It also offers the best view for dinners on board since it is located Deck 5 Aft and has huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The Oceanview buffet is one of our favorite dining venues on any Celebrity ship. With much higher food quality than a typical buffet, we love the variety of foods (including 300 types of breads) as well as the vast quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables on board.

It’s is a great place to watch a movie, play some Bocce Ball, or just to sit back, stretch, and relax. Also available for an up charge are alcoves offering comfortable seating, and beautiful sea breezes. We tried a number of the specialty restaurants on board The Reflection and genuinely liked them all except for one. Service was a little chaotic (maybe a training day), and the food did not meet our expectations.

Celebrity Reflection is sailing with Starlink - the world’s most advanced broadband satellite internet - to bring you high-speed connectivity for a better onboard experience. The buffet on The Reflection offers a fantastic array of food, but we really like the Indian offerings. We love Indian food in general and find the flavors on board to be very authentic–which makes sense as so many of the chefs hail from India.
